Steering group

Tim Parker
Chairman
Steering Group Placeholder

Tim became the Chair of the Cluster in November 2023. By day, he is a cyber security consultant, specialising in Operational Technology and Critical Infrastructure with PA Consulting and outside that he coaches the U14 team at Topsham Rugby Club, is Chair of Trustees for the Nautical Archaeology Society and spends an increasing amount of time watching his two teenage boys row on the Exe and the Dart.

Anthony Odhams
Administration

As a director of the SWCSC, Anthony was one of its founding members 10 years ago. His career started out with corporate brands such as Epson, Citizen and Unisys. His passion for cyber security compelled him to establish SecureSearch in 2000 as a specialist search & placement practice.

When he isn’t keeping an eye on the administration and finances of the SWCSC, Anthony can be found with the family dog exploring the lanes and pubs of the South West or cheering on his grandchildren’s rugby. Another joy is sailing trips in warm blue seas, with family and friends.

Geoff Revill
Events

Geoff is a security and privacy by design guy and an original founder of the SWCSC. With too many years experience across almost all sectors, and yes that includes the ubiquitous AI claim (mine from the 80s!). He is a cyber innovator on his second start up, both Innovate UK award winners.

He tends to be the events guy at SWCSC. When the cluster gives him time off, he plays tennis, walks, cycles (in the summer, not that hardy!) and swims (in a clean pool!). His dirty little secret is he still enjoys Roleplaying Games with his (really) old mates from University.

Peter Jones
Co-founder
Steering Group Placeholder

Peter Jones is a Cyber Security and Digital Forensics professional working as a CISO with a career covering auditing, digital forensic investigations and incident response. Peter has co-authored a number of CREST-accredited courses and co-founded the South West Cyber Security Cluster.

Peter is also the chair of the South West branch of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec). Acting as a link to CIISec and professional membership.

Chelsea Eaton
Marketing
Steering Group Placeholder

Chelsea is a student at Bournemouth University, studying Forensic Computing and Security and is responsible for the SWCSC marketing. Following a placement year in Incident Response, she is now working towards creating a framework to help SMEs self assess for Cyber Essentials as part of her final year project. Outside of work, Chelsea is a keen reader, particularly enjoying classics and thrillers. When she isn’t spending her free time with friends, she can often be found gaming.
