Train4Tomorrow to deliver free, high quality, digital and technical training to 1000 adults in Devon, Plymouth, Somerset, Torbay, Cornwall and Dorset.
What?
The programme, funded through the government’s National Skills Fund, is designed to help local people advance their skills into growing sectors resilient to the current economic downturn. You can find out more about the programme at train4tomorrow.org.uk but in summary, the 12 week digital and technical bootcamps have helped people re-train into IT, Cyber, Data Science, Software Development, Digital for Health and Socialcare, Welding, Electronics, Photonics, Marine Renewables and Engineering Construction.
The first bootcamps are now concluding and we’re looking to connect local employers with the highly skilled talent completing these bootcamps at a free-to-attend virtual job fair.
When?
The first jobs fair will take place on May 26, 2021 from 9am to 4pm and we’re looking for employers with open or soon to be open vacancies, to connect with these freshly re-trained job seekers by booking a virtual table. At your virtual table you can showcase your organisation to the bootcamp learners by showing a presentation or video or have an informal chat with attendees about your business, promote your vacancies and meet with potential candidates – you could even arrange future interviews or conduct mini on the day interviews.

The event will also include keynote speakers from a range of industries, giving talks on inspiring topics.
